Senior Games Programmer

Responsibilities:
Helps supervise and support a team of programmers.
Helps establish methodologies, design, frameworks, and development standards.
Contributes daily to graphics, framework, physics, and network code.
Writes and assists with management of project schedules and resource planning.
Lead team through console-specific SDK requirements.
Understands and corrects defects early in the process to stay on schedule.
Conducts regular design and code reviews with consistent direction to development team.
Flexibility to wear multiple hats and self-starting drive to help form a new studio.
Requirements:
Experience with various levels of technical responsibility on at least 3 game titles.
Passion and desire to create games with personality and a strong technical foundation.
Strong leadership, motivational, and organizational skills.
Extensive experience writing code in C++ in a Windows/DirectX environment.
Technical excellence in Physics, Rendering, and Shaders.
Capable of recommending tools to enhance the quality and speed of development.
Interest and desire to participate in the game design and maximizing game usability.
Preference to applicants with:
Passion for classic 'retro' games (Atari 800, C64, Apple II).
Desire for freedom to participate in the game design.
Interest in acquiring equity and helping build Bonzoid Studios.
Shipped console titles (esp. Xbox).
Experience on both 2D and pre-rendered 3D games.
Experience with Torque or Torque Game Builder.
Experience with LUA or other scripting languages.
